Our Mission
Our association is dedicated to the advancement of all matters pertaining to the development of the landscape profession and its relationship to the users of its products and services.
Our Mandate
is to raise the level of professionalism within our industry by providing training and certification for our members, and as well we have a commitment to maintain confidence and trust in the profession of horticulture and to encourage and support education and research within the horticultural field..
My vision is simple: Our focus must always align with our mission and our mission must help keep us on track. I will work hard to energize our committee work and help grow our volunteer base, while working diligently to encourage enthusiasm among our members. Times are changing, members are aging, interests are pulling everyone in several directions- LNB/LPEI has arrived at acritical time and our time to regroup, join together and spark enthusiasm is now!
At the forefront of our association is our members: recruitment and retention are key. Our goals are to continue to peak our member’s interests with worthwhile, professional educational sessions that bring us together. This in turn will ensure our sponsor’s investments are worthwhile for them. We will work to simplify our offering; we will be their voice and we will strive to always bring new ideas and tools to our member’s toolboxes. We will continue to bring our members, government officials and sponsors together, whenever possible, and be proud of the work we all do to make our communities beautiful and green each and every season.
When we accomplish this – Our value is limitless!! I look forward to our journey together!
